14 Navy | Winter 2017 Member Services AUSN Scholarship Program Offers Benefits to Students By Leah Gibbs ISTOCKPHOTO The Association of the United States Navy's (AUSN) Scholarship Program awards up to $25,000 a year in scholarships to mem- bers who are undergraduate students; children and grand- children of AUSN members; and surviving spouses of deceased members. Our goal is to help our members and those they love earn a college degree. Scholarships, which are re- viewed by AUSN's Scholarship Committee, are awarded based on financial need and/or scho- lastic achievement. Scholarships range from $1,000 to $2,000 and recipients may receive up to two scholarships. Applications must be received by May 5, 2017.
